With Telehealth, new, and returning patients can schedule emergency visits, consultations, and follow-up visits. Be advised that certain visit types require in-person procedures and therefore cannot be conducted via Telehealth.
Conditions that may be treated virtually:
- Red-eye including itching, tearing, burning, or discharge
- Contact lens follow-ups
- Lid bumps or irritations
Call our office to see if your condition qualifies for a Telehealth visit.
Talking to the doctor will be like an in-person visit. We use a secure, HIPPA compliant telemedicine platform called doxy.me. There is no need to download software or create an account. Just use a browser on a computer or device with a camera and microphone.
To prepare for your visit:
- Find a quiet place to talk
- Write down any questions you may have for the doctor
- Have a paper and pen with you for taking notes
At the time of your visit, the doctor will text or email you a link to click on to join the virtual visit.
